Mr David Murray MD FRCS - Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon

I have a keen interest in minimally invasive "Keyhole" surgery for peripheral vascular disease including angioplasty and stenting and combined open and endovacular solutions to minimise surgical insult, allowing earlier mobilty and reduced hospital inpatient stay.
Similarly, for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), my preference is to perform EVAR, complex EVAR including fenestrated and branches Iliac stents when possible. Research has proven that this reduces mortality and complication in the short to medium term.
I perform carotid endartercetomy surgery for the prevention of stroke, and conventional surgery and VNUS (Radiofrequency Ablation) for varicose veins.
