Mr David Murray provides Private Vascular Surgery consultation at his rooms,at the BMI The Alexandra Hospital, Manchester UK.
He has a keen interest in minimally invasive "Keyhole" endovascular surgery for peripheral vascular disease and varicose veins, allowing earlier mobility and reduced hospital inpatient stay.
Similarly, for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), his preference is to perform EVAR, complex EVAR including fenestrated and branches Iliac stents when possible. Research has proven that this reduces mortality and complication in the short to medium term.
He performs carotid endartercetomy surgery for the prevention of stroke, conventional surgery and Venefit (Radiofrequency Ablation) , EVLT ( laser) and Sclerotherapy treatments for varicose veins. He has a particular interest in recurrent varicose veins and the Venefit procedure.
